How Solexi.ai Selects and Verifies Sources

The source hierarchy we prefer

When several sources describe the same fact, we use the one closest to the decision. A platform’s own documentation beats an article about that platform; a government page beats a summary of it.

• 1. Government agencies and public administrations.
• 2. Official technology-platform documentation.
• 3. Universities and academic publications.
• 4. Professional organizations (notaries, lawyers, estate practitioners).
• 5. Specialized legal or estate-planning firms.
• 6. Established media with a named author.
• 7. Identifiable subject-matter experts writing under their own name.
• 8. Other relevant public sources, clearly labelled as such.

What we avoid

The following are not published, even when they would make a page look more authoritative.

• Statistics without an original source we can open and read.
• Numbers that circulate widely but trace back to nothing verifiable.
• Marketing claims presented as findings.
• Quotations lifted out of their context.
• Fabricated or approximated citations.
• Claims generated by an AI model and published without human verification.
• Endorsements, partnerships or affiliations that do not exist.

The verification process

A source goes through the same steps whether it was found by a person or surfaced by our internal monitoring.

• Open the original page and confirm it is publicly reachable.
• Confirm the publisher, and record an author only when the page names one.
• Record a publication date only when the page carries a reliable one — otherwise the field stays empty rather than estimated.
• Write an original summary; never paste or paraphrase the source text closely.
• State why the source matters for a family, in one sentence.
• Assign a category and, where relevant, a Solexi resource that helps the reader act.
• Record the review date, then approve or reject. Rejected candidates are not published.

Automated monitoring never publishes

Solexi operates an internal monitoring system that watches public feeds and official documentation for developments relevant to digital legacy. It has no publishing rights. It can only propose a candidate for review; a person decides whether that candidate becomes a public entry, and writes the summary.

Corrections

If a page here contains an error — a dead link, a misread policy, a summary that misrepresents its source — we want to fix it rather than defend it. Write to daniel@solexi.ai with the page URL and what is wrong. Verified errors are corrected, and the review date on the affected page is updated so you can see that it changed.

Platform policies change without notice. Where a page describes a provider mechanism, the linked official documentation is always authoritative over our summary.

Who writes and reviews this

English resources on this site are written and reviewed by Daniel Tanguay, founder of Solexi.ai. Where a page has been reviewed by someone else, that person is named on the page itself. We do not list credentials we do not have, and we do not describe ourselves as legal or financial advisors.

No. No organization can pay to be listed in the research hub, the observatory or the news page, and being listed does not imply any relationship with Solexi.ai.

Why do some entries have no publication date or author?

Because the original page does not state one reliably. We leave the field empty instead of estimating it, since an invented date is worse than a missing one.
